The Korean Association of Financial Engineering (KAFE) was established in 2001 to promote interdisciplinary studies related to actual financial decision-making, big data analyses, financial economics, financial engineering, fintech, machine-learning applications, mathematical finance, and quantitative finance. KAFE encourages our members and quantitative analysts from academia, industry, and government to exchange new ideas, opinions, and research results.

We have a partnership with the Japanese Association of Financial Econometrics and Engineering (JAFEE), aiming to enhance international networks and collaborations to promote the development of knowledge and technology in the fields of financial engineering and economics. Additionally, we have invited top-notch scholars from world-class universities and the editors of SSCI journals to serve on our Advisory Board, with the aim of improving the development and scholarly level of our society.
